Making a sports video game can be pretty hit or miss sometimes. In the majority of cases, you get the rights to the leagues and likenesses of the players, the mechanics work and the gameplay is solid.Then, you’re laughing all the way to the bank and have a great sports video game classic on the books.
But sometimes, developers are possessed with an idea so ridiculous and odd, that they know it’s gonna be a money-maker, despite how random the premise is. These games, are those examples.
They might be fun, silly and nostalgic, but they’re also a pretty screwy combination of elements that don’t always work.
