I’m not going to lie, when I dig up stories about the horrors of the service industry, I don’t relate to them too much, if only because I worked at a country club. It’s a very specific environment with its own… Quirks, to put it nicely.
Which is why this story is different. It’s not at a country club, but it’s a tale of working a corporate dinner, and in just one year at a country club I must have worked a couple dozen of these events.
And I WISH that this story was mine, I really do.
