So over at Amazon, their fulfillment-center employees are enlisted to write positive comments about the working conditions in Amazon warehouses. They go by codename “FC Ambassadors.” After getting called out for their automated like tweets the company assured everyone that they are real people behind the tweets. Calling out the “robotic” and “scripted” lingo, many believe that Amazon is having these “workers” defend their integrity with sketchy tweets that sound pretty automated.
Fulfillment Centers are Amazon’s largest warehouses in the company’s logistics network (at 1 million square feet per center). The centers were under recent scrutiny when they were reported to lack basic facilities. To which Amazon responded through these tweets from specifically articulated employees.
Que the fishiness.
