When our mind wanders, some of us like to think about sexual desires, or fantasies. According to Justin Lehmiller, PhD, a research fellow at The Kinsey Institute and a social scientist who studies sex and fetishizes, we’re actually more likely to think about our current or a former partner rather than a celebrity.
But a sexual fantasy involving a famous celebrity is much more easy to picture for the public. In Lehmiller’s new book, Tell Me What You Want: The Science of Sexual Desire and How It Can Help You Improve Your Sex Life, Lehmiller surveyed over 4,000 people about their sexual fantasies and only two-thirds had actually fantasized about a celebrity.
