Is there anything better than a food festival? The answer is no. The smell of grilling foods, the sounds of beers being poured, and the sheer number of people looking to get their grub on; it’s one of my favourite things to do on the weekend. And while I’m down for a BurgerFest, Food Truck Frenzy or even an Asian Night Market, I might give these a second thought.
Especially some of the southern ones. I’m sure they taste fantastic, but there’s an entire festival dedicated to roadkill that I’d rather stay away from. I’m not that adventurous.
But then again, you only live once, right?
