Navy’s BRRRRRRRT shoots down flying drone target (Video)

Close In Weapons System (CIWS)
The Navy’s “Phalanx” CIWS Gatling Gun fires at a max rate of 4,500 Rounds per Minute.
That’s 75-rounds in ONE SECOND…the flying drone target is about to have a short-lived “real bad day”.

PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 26, 2019)
The Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) fires a close in weapons system. Germantown, part of Commander, Amphibious Squadron 11, is deployed to the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
