I’m no parent, but I can only imagine the terror of realizing your kid has gone missing. Last Tuesday, a 6-year-old named Ethan Haus from Becker, Minnesota got off the school bus and rushed home to go play with his dog Remmie outside. Hours later, it was discovered the boy was nowhere to be found. Enter parent’s worst nightmare realized.
Thank God though for innovative people, because when the news of the missing boy broke a photographer named Steve Fines decided there had to be a better way to look for the kid with the help of technology. While a town of 600 people rallied to search for the missing boy on foot in the cold of day-turned-night, Steve took to the skies with a thermal drone to hopefully find the 6-year-old who had been missing for 10 hours in 30-degree weather.
