It’s a bold thing to say any particular thing is “the worst,” so let me back up and say that we’re talking about the worst special effects shot in a movie that actually had a Hollywood budget.
And that movie is Jaws 3D, a sequel buried by history for its infamy. It’s absolutely horrible (and for me personally, one of my absolute favorite “so bad it’s good” movies ever), but its lowest moment comes during this scene:
