Getting old isn’t all bad. I started rewatching The Wonder Years the other night and it was so much more irreverent and poignant now than I ever remember it being. See, that’s the thing about getting older, it gives you the chance to look back and reminisce and count your blessings that you’re still around to count your blessings. Sure, I wake up every morning with a backache and the arthritis in my knees creaks more than that old rocking chair, but at least I can finally get away with yelling at all the asshole teenagers in my neighborhood. They just shrug now and say, “old man Dustin at it again.” What was I talking about? Oh well, here are some memes that are all too true for those of us who are starting to feel the effects of decades of gravity pulling on our loose skin.
