There are around 50 photos on Limp Bizkit Frontman Fred Durst’s Instagram page — and 47 of them are photos of vintage station wagons. Why? I have no idea. But I had never realized how cool old station wagons are until now.
He created his account back in 2017 and didn’t post a single non-station wagon picture until 2019. That’s two full years of nothing but classic wags. I can’t tell if he’s trolling or not. I mean, he’s the lead singer of a rock band that was once one of the hottest acts in the world. You would think he’d post photos of mansions or titties that are half his age or cars, but cars where the doors open up like bird wings, not a spacious and humble 1976 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser Station Wagon with wood paneling.
But nope. All old station wagons. All the time. And you gotta respect it. Most celebs are posting pics of whatever they can to flex how awesome their lives are. Durst just digs classic station wagons. He really digs them. And he wants to share that passion, that beauty in the ordinary, with all of us.
