Back in 2016, a friend of mine and I stumbled onto Joe Exotic. He was running for president at the time, and had been jokingly featured during a segment of the HBO show Last Week Tonight. Exotic seemed like a cartoon character, and when my friend and I found his YouTube channel, we were in awe.
We spent at least an hour watching random videos and rants, along with the surprising number of music videos made by this odd man.
And a couple of years later, I got online and read that Joe Exotic had been arrested for being involved in trying to hire a hitman to kill one of his rivals.
