I get that from March onwards, 2020 has been a mindfuck of a year, and everyone’s been scrambling to figure out how to survive. From us regular joes to business owners, we’ve either been really lucky, or have had to find ways to survive and thrive during the pandemic. And for a lot of people, the outcome hasn’t been good and life’s become harder than it needs to be. And it all has to do with landlords. Forget the virus,I feel like these guys are the real villain of 2020.
I get that you’re running a business and your tenants are an income stream, but all these stories of commercial and residential landlords tossing people out on their ass; it’s disgusting. And it seems like there’s no real interest from the cities to stop this sneaky shit until the pandemic’s over and folks have a chance to catch up.
Thankfully, we’ve got this tale of malicious compliance from Reddit user u/poshbo to show that some people can still find ways to screw over a dickish landlord.
