Look, I’m not a parent, I’m not a student, I’m not really in a position that’s been compromised over the last year. If there are any major benefits to being a website writer, it’s that during Covid we all have the option to work from home (though, I’ve been in the office for as much of it as I can). My life has not been too terrible, I spend most of my days watching Forged in Fire, the greatest competition show ever made.
However, I have a cousin who started college a few months ago. I have friends who have kids now. Their stories have been really tough to hear, so I’m far from unsympathetic to the challenges of the last year. So, I tried to keep this post somewhat light while choosing Tweets that acknowledge the true difficulty (and unexpected benefits) of these times:
