There’s an energy at theCHIVE HQ these days, and you can feel it. Over the past year, we remained the lone website who refused to give in to political snark or post negative content. We reinforced who we have always been: A place for people to escape and to laugh. We love having people stop by to feel that energy. We’re proud of where we’ve come and want people to see us in motion.
Still, when we heard Bill Murray was one of those people planning on visiting our offices, we figured there was a solid 13% chance it would actually happen. We’ve been friends with Bill for a long time, but expecting him to walk through the door at some set time is like dividing the number 7 by potato.
First, all the urban legends you hear about Bill are probably true. Every day, he makes himself available to life. The unintended consequence of which means that he goes his own way. Maybe he shows up, or maybe he meets an interesting person on the plane into Austin and winds up with them at Franklin’s BBQ instead.
