A “notable” convicted murderer has allegedly confessed to the 2005 killing of Theresa Halbach, whose murder was thrust back into the spotlight in 2016 with the release of the Netflix docuseries, Making A Murderer.
The two-part series suggests Steven Avery and his nephew, Brendan Dassey, were framed by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office. Both maintain their innocence amidst life sentences.
