Simply put, the DMV is where hopes and dreams go to die. All understanding of time and space disappears in a seemingly never-ending nightmare. It feels like the opposite of the casinos in Vegas, like oxygen is sucked from the room as your number ticks higher and higher. I may have recently spent 4 hours there and don’t think I’ll fully recover by the time I have to visit again in 6 years.
