Rick Moranis was one of the most iconic comic actors of the ’80s and ’90s, known best for his roles in Ghostbusters, Spaceballs, and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Then he walked away from the spotlight to focus on being a single dad — his wife had died of cancer in 1991 and he couldn’t give his kids the attention he wanted to give them while also juggling the travel and hours of being a full-time actor.
