Sports officiating is one of the most thankless jobs. The general public does not praise officials for doing a good job but they sure as hell will let them know when they mess up. Officials are RARELY held accountable for their gaffes aside from rabid fans attacking every aspect of their life, sometimes even going as far as to send death threats for costing their team a victory. Now this is never OK but some of these calls are so bad that they warrant a little extra trash-talking from the sports world.
