So, I’m doing something a bit different for theCHIVE’s Best of 2024 posts. While the “It Can’t Be That Bad” project started in 2023 last year, 2024 is the first year that the project posted reviews for all 12 months of the year.

With that in mind, I’m picking my 25 favorite reviews I wrote this year. These were the reviews I had the most fun writing, whether the movie in question was good or bad in the end. All of the reviews will be in chronological order from January to December, links will be included for each full review, but I’ll also provide some blurbs in retrospect about the movies that might have insights separate from the reviews themselves:
