As promised, I’m trying to post and update on theCHIVE every couple weeks or so. Even before the layoffs I was overly-candid with our community that something had gone terribly wrong with our 3rd party ad servers. You all know who the culprit is by now.
This remains an industry-wide problem for all publishers, not just theCHIVE. We all got our teeth kicked in by the platforms as I have long predicted. Some publishers have chosen to shutter the biz, but I think you know that’s not our fate.
We fight a little harder over here. And we play to win.
