Maybe I’m getting too old to be searching the internet. I came from the simple internet times: when YouTube videos tried to pull you in with interesting content, not insane thumbnails.

But now, YouTube thumbnail marketing is its own beast. It’s like toeing the line between insanity and vibrant colours seems like the best way to reel in audiences.

Who knows, guys. Maybe I’m being trolled into thinking these are all serious. Maybe they are jokes and I’m not catching on. Maybe the YouTube algorithms have caught up to me.
