McDonald’s just hit differently in the 1990s.
Maybe it’s because all those tasty burgers, tries, and McNuggets (and sauces) hit our juvenile tastebuds harder.
Maybe it’s because our parents were paying.
At any rate, it just felt more special in the ‘90s. The average McDonald’s was a palace, with a playground, video games, other kids our age running around, and everything smelled like burgers. Good times.
