English is a weird-ass language.
I often use the term, “edited it” (say it loud, it just sounds wrong), and it always makes me sound like I’m stuttering. (Ex: “Yeah, I already edited it…”)
But, the simple past tense of “edit it” is actually “edited it,” regardless of how dumb it sounds.
So, here are a bunch of little English grammar intricacies that look wrong but are actually 100% correct.
