I feel like back in the day, we had really grand hopes for the future.
Like, even when I was still a wee lad, we used to think technology would be crazy, we’d be crawling space, and have a greater understanding of our universe.
None of that’s happened, and, instead, we’re sprinting towards the destruction of humanity with AI! I feel like we’ve stopped dreaming of a utopian, high-tech future now and replaced it with cynicism.
Well, let’s take a look back at what people used to think the future would look like.
