Does anyone else think it’s kind of wild that, over the span of a few decades, “meeting someone online” went from being considered weird, potentially dangerous, and pretty niche to socially accepted, still potentially dangerous, and the most likely way of meeting a match?
So much so that whenever I hear how a couple met, if it is anything other than on a dating app, it comes as something of a surprise.
“What do you mean you met out in the wild? That’s crazy.”
So it’s no wonder that the trials and tribulations of looking for the one someone online has become such a relatable experience.
