Nostalgia is a powerful thing.
Every once in a while you’re out running errands, and something random — the smell of fresh‑cut grass, the sight of an old bakery you forgot existed — hits you, and suddenly you’re transported back to a simpler time.
And if you grew up in the era before everything was sleek and minimalist, that memory probably includes a living room full of weird, wonderful items that you just don’t see in people’s homes anymore.
