Looking back, not sure if it was supposed to be motivational or realistic.
Maybe that was my dad’s subtle way of telling me my brother was better than me at baseball.
Regardless, it’s true.
Like, Usain Bolt doesn’t just run fast, he runs fast enough to keep up with certain four-legged animals.
Or as I’m typing this, I’m probably good for 45 words per minute. The best does 256.
This is what peak human looks like at completely ordinary things. It’s humbling but also very ridiculous.
