20 years later Prince’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame solo is just as epic
Play this on loop all day. In 2004, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame decided to honor The Beatles’ late guitarist, George Harrison. What we got was a performance like no other.
Harrison’s son Dhani was joined at the induction ceremony by rock legends, Steve Winwood, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, and Prince for an unbelievable rendition of “While my Guitar Gently Weeps.”
The makeshift super group was fantastic. And we all knew about Prince’s guitar playing abilities, but I don’t think that anyone was expecting him to steal the show with his skills. Excuse me while I put this video on repeat, and cry my eyes out.
