“I was working as an extra in a TV show he was doing in the Seattle area. So, we were having lunch over at our separate little ‘extras table’ and Mr. Jones came over to talk to us. He sat with us for about half an hour, telling stories about his years as an actor, about the other members of the cast, asking about what other shows we’d done.
When he got up to go, he leaned over the table and said, “Look, right now I’ve got the power. These guys running this show, they don’t treat you right, you come and let me know. I’ll do something about it.” And there was no doubt he meant it.”
