I used to wish I were a little bit taller.
It never really bothered me growing up — probably because I was the same size as most of the kids in my neighbourhood (lots of Italians).
But once I began broadening my horizons a little more as a young man, it began to dawn on me that I was, in fact, vertically challenged.
I’m not exactly tiny, but being around too many Dutch people does make me feel like a shrimp.
Anyway, a few years back, folks on the internet coined the term “short king” and it stuck for a reason.
