If you missed it this morning, Amazon CEO and billionaire Jeff Bezos took the New Shepard rocket 66.5 miles into the atmosphere, a whole 3 miles past The Kármán line. The trip lasted all of 10 minutes and 19 seconds before the crew landed safely back on land.
Since billionaires aren’t ever allowed to have nice things according to the people on the internet, Twitter was full of people ready to react to the short “space” flight…while pointing out the eerie similarities to Dr. Evil’s iconic rocket.
