Chive: While you were in Indy, ESPN picked you up for the body issue. What was that experience like, just kind of baring it all?

Todd: I think they couldn’t find anybody else to do it. They were like, “Hey we want some fat guys for this one.” And I was like, “I’m fat.” Then they were like, “Can you convince other fat guys to do it?” And I was like, “I’ll throw it at them.” So we had two willing guys; Anthony Castonzo and Jack Mewhort. It was very interesting – it was fun. It’s not like it’s weird being naked around these guys, you’re naked around them every day. It’s a little different being naked around photographers and also the whole trust factor that they’re not gonna make you look bad.

Chive: Yeah, of course.

Todd: Dude, there were all of these great shots that we took, right? Like muscle definition, the light hits, chiseled jaw. Complimentary photographs that I would like to have. And then we go to the unveiling party where we’re seeing it, and they chose like this candid freaking belly laugh photo of us where I wasn’t even able to like flex, or suck it in, or anything. And it was like, “I trusted you guys with my love handles, and you let the world see it.” At that point, who am I trying to fool?

Chive: Wait, has Jason Kelce – world’s sexiest man – has he seen that photo of you? Because I feel like you should be in the running.

Todd: Well, I mean, you know that’s a reoccurring list, and I’m far too old to be showing up on that list. I’m not gonna disagree. Jason’s got a little sex appeal to him. There’s a certain sexiness to not giving a shit, you know? No, that’s good for him, dude. The Eagles O-line did the body issue a couple years ago – the year they went to the Super Bowl. They got the whole line to do it. They looked way better than we did.
