I never played video games growing up.
UNTIL I build a STACKED squad in Pokémon Blue.
I have a twin brother, you see, and we had two GameBoys between us, and a trade cable.
So uh yeah… We did the classic “restart the game and trade me each starter Pokémon” move.
All three starters, Alakazam, Primeape, and Pidgeot — an absolute dynasty of a Pokémon squad.
As you can tell, Pokémon catapulted my love for video games. I still dream about that Alakazam, what a gem.
