35 ‘Major League’ GIFs celebrating 35 years of ‘Wild Thing’ baseball

On April 7th, 1989, Major League hit theaters. The comedy which follows a rag-tag roster of Cleveland Indian players trying to save their season, debuted at number one at the U.S. box office.
With bad boy Charlie Sheen leading the cast, the film has an edge that we really hadn’t seen in sports movies (especially baseball) up to this point.
Major League holds an 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and the cult following only bolsters this movie’s reputation. That being said, we’ve collected some of the greatest one-liners from this baseball classic.
