With Deadpool & Wolverine surpassing $1 billion at the box office and still selling out theaters heading into its fourth weekend, it’s safe to say Ryan Reynolds has (rightfully) struck gold.
Only one R-rated film has grossed higher than this third Deadpool installment, and that’s Todd Phillips’ Joker. That record is dangerously close to being broken.
Obviously fans are chattering about cameos, and the Jackman/Reynolds chemistry. But we’d be remiss if we didn’t talk about Wade Wilson’s gorgeous better half. Morena Baccarin has been an underrated piece of Deadpool’s success as love interest, Vanessa. She’s got the acting chops, she can go punch for punch with Ryan Reynolds, and she’s absolutely stunning.
No spoilers ahead, I promise.
