‘A Goofy Movie’ turns 30 and we’re old AF, y’all

On this day in 1995, Disney released A Goofy Movie. Unfortunately for Walt and crew, the movie was pretty much a disaster at the box office. On a budget of $18 million, the film grossed an embarrassing $35.3 million total worldwide.
Thank God for VHS, DVD, and home video sales. The animated flick gained a cult following and hasn’t let up. Love them or hate them, Disney adults will die on ‘A Goofy Movie’ hill.
With the help of Lexapro and Xanax, Millennials have gone back to the movie to chase that nostalgic feeling time and time again.
