So, when it comes to filmmaking, you generally don’t want your actors eating on screen too much. It causes continuity errors if you shoot multiple takes, the actors rarely can swallow the food (just imagine eating buckets of food for the several takes you have onset in just one day), and it’s just a pain in the ass to deal with.
