Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice was released 36 years ago. It’s now 2024 and we’re finally getting a sequel to the original horror-comedy. The film – aptly titled, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is slated to be released on September 6th.
With hype building and multiple trailers already screening, it looks like we can expect some fun things out of the long-awaited sequel. Tim Burton’s direction combined with the cinematography of Haris Zambarloukos, and we’re getting a modern take on the already dark and brooding world of the bio-exorcist.
There’s a great mix of new and returning cast members (save for Jeffrey Jones who…well…just Google it.) Michael Keaton, Catherine O’Hara, and Winona Ryder are back in their 1988 roles. While newbies Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, and Willem Dafoe round out the stellar cast.
