We used to shop at the mall. Now the mall shops us. From impulse buys on Amazon that really should have been impulse buys on The Chivery… to endless targeted ads for things you mentioned once in a conversation – online shopping has quietly found it’s home inside everyone’s wallet.
This gallery dives into the absurdity of being a customer of the internet. We realize the irony here.
Whether it’s packages that never show, unnecessary gadgets or a digital picture of a cat that cost the same as my car that perfectly captures the dopamine rush of clicking add to cart.
