Some of the best memories I have involve going to the movies with my friends.
With the rapid rise of streaming platforms, we’ve found ourselves in a bit of a weird spot. Like scrolling through Door Dash in a major city, we have way too many options.
Having everything at our fingertips is a blessing and a curse.
I mean, how many of us spend way too long scrolling through Netflix before eventually saying “F*ck It” and going to bed?
All that to say, I miss the times when going to the movie theater was a big deal.
Maybe you just wanted to catch a specific trailer that you knew was going to play.
Or maybe you’re finally getting to see that film you’ve been anticipating for months on end.
Hell, even the idea of Milk Duds and a Soda was enough to get me pumped up.
