‘Halloween II’ Turns 44 Today and We Still Want Justice for Ben Tramer

On October 30, 1981 Halloween II was released in theaters. The sequel to John Carpenter’s smash hit Halloween picks up right where the events of the original film left off.
With Carpenter and Debra Hill back onboard as both writers and producers, the movie absolutely does the original justice. While at the same time wrapping everything up in a nice bow (at least for the time being.)
In what could be argued to be a perfect sequel, there’s one death that bothers me to this day…poor Ben Tramer. Talk about an unnecessary and brutal kill. Let’s go back, shall we?
