It’s hard to believe that 10 years have already passed since Heath Ledger’s tragic and untimely death on January 22, 2008, at only 28 years old. Just a few months earlier, having recently finished his work for the iconic role of the Joker in The Dark Knight as well as the Bob Dylan biopic I’m Not There, he opened up to The New York Times about his issues with insomnia and self-medication. Ultimately his death would be ruled accidental, with a toxicology report finding multiple prescription drugs in his system.
