Last month, the partnership between Sony Pictures and Disney/Marvel fell apart, and it looked like Spider-Man was out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for good. Memes were made, people were pissed and heartbroken. Enough time passed that it seemed like this was truly it for Peter Parker in the MCU.
