Monty Python and the Holy Grail was released April 27, 1975. That’s half a century we’re celebrating! From awful shooting conditions to last minute location cancellations, it’s a shock this movie even got made.
On a budget of about $410,000 (which was mainly provided by British rockstars), the film became a cult-classic and arguably the most popular of the Monty Python movies.
