There must’ve been something in the water back in 2012, because YouTube was thriving. It was a lawless wasteland of creativity and no holds barred content. We’ve lost that spark somewhere along the way.
But 12 years ago, user wikkidprawn uploaded an edit of the Robin Williams’ family feature, Mrs. Doubtfire…as a horror movie trailer.
Yup, sign me up. With a bit of cutting, some dark music, and some terrifying tones, the trailer found its way onto YouTube. Since its release, the video has amassed over 4.3 million views. But more than that, the edit actually reveals just how disturbing the character of Mrs. Doubtfire truly is.
It’s a good go-to watch if you’re looking for a quick dopamine spike this spooky season.
