Other unusual “superhero” movies to watch (12 GIFs)

With Brightburn coming out this weekend, I can’t think of a better reason to talk about some of the more “offbeat” superhero movies out there (maybe offbeat isn’t the right way to describe a movie where a 12-year-old boy with superpowers starts murdering the townsfolk, but you know what I mean).
I’ve tried to keep this list limited to films that aren’t directly based off of comics, but one film with comic-book origins did slip through (mostly because I couldn’t avoid talking about one in particular…).
