Life isn’t fair. It’s a hard lesson, but an important one to learn. It’s not fair that Chris Farley died of an overdose at the age of 33. It’s not fair that we never got to see his work on films such as The Cable Guy, Shrek, and Ghostbusters. And it’s not fair that arguably the funniest actor to ever step on the stage at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, studio 8h isn’t on this planet anymore. Even though selfishly, we all wish he was.
That’s life. It hurts, but we have to find ways of moving on. In Farley’s case, he left behind a – pardon the cliche – lasting legacy. From his SNL sketches, to cameos, to his hit comedies.
