I’ve been covering films at Fantastic Fest 2024 for just under a week now. The festival wraps up tomorrow, so needless to say I haven’t had time to watch any movies for the “It Can’t Be That Bad” series.
What I did have time for though was looking back on the movies I’ve reviewed. To date, I’ve watched over 60 movies for “It Can’t Be That Bad.” That’s a lot of infamous movies, though some have been much better than others. Movies like The Exorcist III have actually become new favorites of mine, and other movies I’ve reviewed like Prometheus were better than I remembered at the time even if I’m still not a huge fan of it upon revisiting it.
That also means the opposite is true. I have seen some horrendous movies for this project, so I’m ranking the worst of the worst so far. Keep in mind, this is based entirely on my own personal reactions to these films. A movie like Fateful Findings might be inept from a technical perspective, but I enjoyed watching that movie infinitely more than any of the 10 films below:
