Ralph Bellamy & Don Ameche in ‘Coming to America’

At the end of Eddie Murphy’s 1983 hit Trading Places, Murphy’s character outwits a pair of Wall Street bankers that were out to put him back on the streets. Ironically, it is the two bankers, played by Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche, that end up homeless.
Their roles are reprised in the 1988 hit Coming To America in which Eddie Murphy (as an African prince flying under the radar) gives a huge wad of $100 bills to a pair of homeless men. The two are none other than Bellamy and Ameche, stating the ominous line: “We’re back!”
