You know the feeling… when you have enough products and material items that commercials, or the newest product lineup doesn’t even phase you anymore.
I think we’ve reached the peak. Especially with these AI home robots.
I think what we need more now than ever, is the human connection; playing video games with each other sitting on the floor. going for a walk without a phone, wearing out our running shoes instead of buying the newest lime green shoe every other month. What we’re looking for, can’t be bought anymore. The tipping point of why we are here seems to be reached when it comes to consumer products.
What I’m after is more than an unboxing event. It’s a memory, a moment, a real connection – hell, even the sun on my face past 5pm.
The irony is I’m so easily bought when it comes to non-material items.
